Director Nidhi Gupta told pv magazine that the company had signed the agreement to invest INR 500 crore (US$67.2 million) in building a 120 MW solar park in the Bikaner district of the State. The solar park will provide plug-and-play infrastructure for captive solar projects.

Rays Power Experts, a leading EPC company and plug-and-play infrastructure provider for solar projects, has signed a memorandum of understanding with the government of Rajasthan to invest INR 500 crore (US$67.2 million) in the State. Under the MoU, the company will build a 120 MW solar park in the Bikaner district. The solar park will provide plug-and-play infrastructure for captive solar projects.

Nidhi Gupta, director at Rays Power Experts, told pv magazine “the construction for the 120 MW solar park is already in process. This completely private solar park is an extension of our existing 200 MW solar park in Gajner, Bikaner. We shall provide ready-to-move infrastructure for captive solar projects and also undertake turnkey EPC contracts.”

Out of the planned 120 MW capacity, the first phase of 50 MW shall be operational by March and the remaining capacity before December this year, Gupta said.

So far Rays Experts has executed over 700 MW solar projects in Rajasthan for more than 200 customers, mainly in the commercial and industrial sector.

The company has developed more than ten solar parks in India and executed rooftop solar projects for more than 10,000 homes in addition to C&I installations across the nation.
