Effect of default
  • In case of non-fulfilment of RPO by obligated entities, the obligated entity may be asked by the Commission to deposit an amount into a separate fund.
  • The amount of deposit shall be decided by the Commission on the basis of shortfall in RPO, preferential tariffs applicable in the state and forbearance price as decided by the Central Commission.
  • The fund shall be used as per the directions and approval of the Commission.

Monitoring and Implementation framework

State agency along with concerned transmission licensee or/and distribution licensee shall monitor accredited projects and all related functions related accreditation.
