OTHER PROVISIONS

Tariff structure and design	Single part, levellised, generic tariff.
Merit Order Dispatch principles	‘Must run’ power plants and thereby not subject to merit order dispatch principle.
Subsidy or/and incentives by government	Benefits of accelerated depreciation have been included in tariff. Any other benefits such as capital subsidy, grants provided by central or state government shall be deducted by distribution licensee in subsequent billing for micro, mini and small hydro projects. GBI shall be retained by the generator over and above tariff for wind projects. All subsidies shall be passed on to the purchaser of electricity for MSW to energy projects.
