Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission Group Net Metering and Virtual Net Metering for Renewable Energy 2019

HIGHLIGHTS

Eligibility Condition	Consumers in NCT Delhi Housing societies and Government offices RE generators under Mukhya Mantri Kisaan Aay Badhotri Yojna
Capacity cap	RE system should be more than 5 KW and less than 5 MW. RE system having higher capacity than CD than consumer need to pay SLD charges.
Metering Arrangement	Net meters shall be installed at the interconnection point by licensee. Net meter cost to be borne by consumer.

OTHER PROVISIONS

Energy Accounting and Settlement	Energy generation will be compensated according to ToD time period it is consumed. Excess energy generated will be carried forward to next month billing cycle.
Other Charges	Exempted from electricity charges till useful life of project.
RPO	Licensee can claim consumer energy toward its RPO target unless it is an obligated entity.
