Evacuation Arrangement Evacuation of solar power shall be made through the transmission and distribution line which are maintained by RVPN and DISCOMs respectively. Evacuation arrangement will be made as per appropriate regulations published by relevant commission time to time.

 

OTHER PROVISIONS

 

Grid Connectivity Charges  Solar power producer will pay the grid connectivity charges as finalized by RERC from time to time. 
Renewable Energy Development Fund Solar power project selling power to the parties other than the Rajasthan DISCOMs would contribute Rs. 1 lacs/MW every year to the renewable energy development fund.  
Other Incentives Generation of electricity from solar power plant should be treated as eligible industry under the schemes administered by the industries department. Thus incentives available to the industrial units should be available to the solar power projects. 
Solar Parks

A special purpose vehicle has been formed for development of infrastructure and management of solar parks under RREC which acts as the nodal agency for the development of solar parks in Rajasthan.

State shall promote development of solar parks by private entity against a processing fee of Rs. 5000 + service tax up to Rs. 10 lacs + service tax for each solar park.

State shall promote development of solar parks by investing up to 50% equity in joint ventures formed for development of solar parks with capacity of 500 MW or more.

Open Access for Third Party Sale 

Open access for third party sale will be granted to the solar power producers against payment of open access charges and losses.

Rorecasting and Scheduling

Solar energy generated will not be covered under scheduling procedure for intra-state ABT.
