Total subsidies to renewables in India for FY14-FY19

The major subsidies in FY 2019 were: Accelerated depreciation for wind and solar, at Rs 2,778 crore; support for solar parks and large solar power, at Rs 1,400 crore; solar rooftop and other applications, at Rs 1,667 crore; and the Viability Gap Funding Scheme under the Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission Phase ll worth Rs 1,335 crore.
